Lifespring Covenant Church 743 S. Dotsero Dr.
Description:
The race event will basically start and finish in the parking lot behind the church. The route will proceed north on Dotsero, west on first, south on Wilson and north on Dotsero to the church.
Course marshalls will be placed at each of the (9) 'primary' locations indicated on the route map. If available, additional marshalls will be placed at the 'secondary' locations.
Live music will be included in the event area behind the church on church property.
3-3-10: In response to the Traffic Division's inquiry about running the race oppossing traffic: Safety is the primary reason for running the route this way. You can see on-coming traffic, there is only one street crossing at Dotsero and Carlisle at the beginning of the race with all participants across the street in under one minute, and the rest of the route is all left-hand turns. Compared to the other intersections along the route, Dotsero and Carlisle has the least amount of vehicular traffic. Racers are instructed to obey all pedestrian laws.
