Apply for Permit

To apply for a Special Event Permit, follow these steps:

  1. Read the appropriate governing policies and submittal requirements. They cover the rules and information you must provide with your application.
  2. Application Deadlines: Apply no later than 0 days prior to but no sooner than 1 year before the date of the event except for the following situations:
    • Applicants must apply a minimum of 60 days in advance if alcohol will be for sale to the public to allow enough time for a liquor license permit to be reviewed and processed.
    • Organizers of events that require complex planning including street closures are encouraged to submit a special event permit 6 months in advance to allow enough time to process other permits and meet respective deadlines.
  3. Note: all information submitted will be publicly accessible on the Internet.
  4. Complete the online application. INCOMPLETE APPLICATIONS CANNOT BE PROCESSED UNTIL ALL INFORMATION HAS BEEN PROVIDED. THIS COULD CAUSE IN DELAYS THAT COULD RESULT IN THE DENIAL OF THE PERMIT.
